At Muzzle 2 Tail Horsemanship & Therapeutic Riding Center, our facility includes spacious stalls, wash stall areas, walking trails around our scenic facility, daily turnout, and top-quality feed and hay.
Our experienced instructors offer a variety of therapeutic services, from basic groundwork to learning riding techniques. We work with riders of all ages and skill levels to help them reach their full potential.
We offer Equine Assisted Services for special needs children and adults. Our instructors can help you improve your skills and achieve your goals. We offer ground lessons, and therapeutic lessons sessions.
We love having visitors, so feel free to come tour our center by appointment.

The side walker is an integral part of the volunteer team, being responsible for helping set up the arena, welcoming riders prior to class, and maintaining safety throughout the lesson. Side walkers help the rider engage with class and encourage and assist them with participating in the lesson where needed.
Side walkers may also provide physical support to the rider as directed by the instructor. Experience is preferred but will train if applicable.

Muzzle 2 Tail is in search of Leaders. A horse leader in therapeutic riding is responsible for the horse's safety and control before, during, and after therapeutic lessons. They hold the lead rope, keep the horse calm, and avoid hazards in the arena. They may also need to provide physical support to riders such as an ank

Muzzle 2 Tail is in search of Leaders. A horse leader in therapeutic riding is responsible for the horse's safety and control before, during, and after therapeutic lessons. They hold the lead rope, keep the horse calm, and avoid hazards in the arena. They may also need to provide physical support to riders such as an ankle hold to help with balance or keep riders lower leg in place. Horse leaders should have experience with horses and be comfortable and safe around them. They should also be able to jog intermittently for an hour over uneven surfaces. Experience preferred but will train if applicable.
Our Winter camp during the school break are $20.00 a day 9-12 p.m. includes a craft, horsemanship skills, farm animal knowledge hands on. The camp ends with a snack and beverage. Camp dates are the 23rd, 26th, 27th, 30th
YOU CAN FEEL BETTER! Sunday from 11-12pm, December 15, 2024 weather permitting we'll explore a variety of ways to release, relax and reconnect with your inner wisdom, bathed in the healing energy of our equine companions. Jen Oppenheim is a Trauma-informed Body Image and Emotional Release Coach who will guide you through practices including Breathwork, Meditation, Somatic Movement, Tapping, Sound Baths and more. $15 per session Includes light refreshments. Bring a Yoga mat and block or pillow to sit on(or a chair if you have mobility issues) and wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
